How It Works
From setup to handoff — here's the technology and process behind your continuity plan.
4 Simple Steps
Sign Up
Create your secure account with Google or Microsoft
Add Essentials
Store passwords, notes, documents (PDF/text files up to 2MB each)
Check In
Log in periodically to confirm you're responsive (daily/weekly/monthly)
Handoff
After 30 days of missed check-ins, trusted contacts gain access
No Single Point of Failure
We use threshold-based key splitting — a cryptographic technique that divides your master key into multiple pieces. No single person (not even us!) can access your vault alone.

Fault Tolerant
Some beneficiaries unavailable? No problem. Any 3 of 5 can work together to access your vault.
Zero Server Access
We store encrypted key shares, but we can't decrypt them. Even if our servers are compromised, your data stays safe.
No Single Beneficiary Risk
Unlike traditional inheritance, one person can't act alone. Requires coordination, preventing unauthorized access.
Example Setup:
Add 5 beneficiaries (spouse, 2 siblings, lawyer, best friend). Set threshold to 3. Any 3 must coordinate to reconstruct your key — making it secure yet accessible.
Your Continuity Ladder
We give your trusted contacts time to reach you before releasing anything
Day 1
Gentle Nudge
You and your trusted contacts receive a heads-up that a check-in was missed.
Day 7
Check-In Support
We reach out again and ask contacts to check on you.
Day 30
Contingency Handoff
Verified contacts receive access to the secrets you've assigned.
